Head Coach Jeremy Whitt
Coach Jeremy Whitt is returning as the Head Coach. Whitt teaches mathematics and has been apart of the Shark family for 9 years. This season he will be cheering on one of his own little shark swimmers.
He began swimming in North Alabama at the age of 5. Over the course of the next 13 years, he earned many State titles, competed in meets in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and competed in Southeastern Championships. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy for 4 years. Upon returning home from the military, he began swimming with a Master's program for 2 years before he started coaching the summer league program he used to swim for. He enrolled in the University of Alabama and began working as the Assistant Coach of the Crimson Tide Aquatics club program for the next 4 years producing many State Champions and Southeastern Champions. He graduated from Alabama with a Master's degree in Mathematics Education.
He is looking forward to working with a summer league program again and teaching the joy of swimming. Whitt's goal for this season is to create a positive and fun team moral while teaching the finer, quality techniques of each stroke.
Age Group Coach
Coach Suzanne White
Coach Suz will lead the 10 & under age groups. Coach Suz White joined the Sharks in 2014. Her specialty is working with our 6 and under swimmers. Suz is very excited and enthusiastic about teaching swimming to ALL our Sharks. It is amazing how much she teaches them in just one week!
Suz has previously worked as the Aquatics Coordinator for the YMCA where she taught stroke booster classes. Prior to that she sold luxury suites for the Indianapolis Colts! Suz is a pharmaceutical sales rep and has 2 Shark swimmers.
Suz's love for swimming started at age 8 while growing up in Indiana. Her passion for swimming earned her a spot to swim for Ball State while earning a double major in History and Public Relations. Suz recalls "being at swim meets with my family all day. I loved it!"
Her goal for her swimmers is to increase their love of the sport and their skill of each stroke with every meet.
Age Group Coach
Coach Jesse Robinson
Age group coach Jesse Robinson is returning to the pool for his 9th season. Before coaching for the sharks Jesse was seen cheering on his five shark swimmers. Currently, Coach Jesse is working on his PhD in psychology. An avid competitor in triathlons, Jesse recently finished The Woodlands Ironman in 12 hours!
While growing up in the Woodlands, Coach Robinson started swimming at the age of 4. He spent 14 summers as a NWAL swimmer with The Woodlands Marlins and coached the Marlins for 2 summers while in college. He was an All-State swimmer at McCullough High School before earning a degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. He went on to earn a Masters Degree in School Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio.
Jesse is looking forward to coaching this season. He brings great spirit & leadership to the Sharks. His goals for his swimmers include: helping them develop appropriate stroke technique, increasing swimming endurance, celebrating the competitive spirit, and having a good time doing it.
