Shark Family,

We have our mid-season invitational coming up on June 2nd and 3rd, Sunday and Monday, at Klein High School, the Summer Thunder Invitational. Meet Invitation is attached. It takes place the two days after our away meet at Windrose.  Sing-ups for this meet will be conducted differently than our regular dual meets and information on how to do this will be at the end of this email.  This meet is optional but will provide an extra opportunity for sharks to swim during our short season.  Please read the following information regarding the meet and instructions on how to register your shark/s for this meet if you choose to attend.

All the 10 and Under events and the 11 & Up 100 Free and 100 IM will be on Sunday afternoon. Sunday, June 2nd, will be for all 10 and Under events and the 11 & Up 100 Free and 100 IM. Warm-ups start at 11:30 a.m. and the meet will start at 1:00 p.m.  There are qualifying times for 12 & under swimmers.

All other 11 & Up events will be held on Monday evening. Monday, June 3rd will be for the remaining 11 and up events. Warm-ups start at 3:45 p.m. and the meet will start at 5:00 p.m.  There are no qualifying times for 13 & Over events.

Swimmers that qualify for at least 3 events will be allowed to swim all additional events provided they have a legal time swum at a time trial or a sanctioned NWAL meet, with exception of 11 - 12 100 Free; 10 & under 50 Free and the 100 IM for all ages.  This opens up a lot of swimming opportunities for sharks!  If you are eligible to swim and event, you will be able to select it during entering the meet.  If you do not have an eligible time, they system will not let you select it.

Click on the green box > Meet entry

Click edit > declare your attendance status > choose the events you wish to sign up for > If a shark is available for relays > any comment you want me to see.

Thanks should be it!  Sign up for as many events as you would like!  I will put together all relays if we have enough entrants.  All  you need to do is take care of the individual events.  

I have to turn in entries for this meet on Sunday while attending a family commitment so I will close entries Saturday at 8pm so I can fill relays and have everything ready to go.  After 8pm, I will not make any individual changes on entries after this time.  If you are having issues, please email Coach Whitt here:   [email protected] and I will do my best to give you any assistance I can.
